That same afternoon, Amiya Raya celebrated the month’s Kite Festival with the Kite Show At The Top, as part of its family-friendly weekend activities. Residents and guests were treated to a colorful kite-flying exhibition by the Kite Association Of The Philippines. The Pampanga-based group has organized special events such as the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark, Pampanga, and has represented the country in kite festivals around the world. With the weather conditions perfect for flight, kids were also taught how to properly launch their own kites.
