Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO celebrates the second anniversary of its online store with new and updated services, limited offers, and exciting events for the whole month of August.

UNIQLO.com has the widest selection of LifeWear and shoppers can access the pre-launch of new items and avail of online-exclusive extra sizes. Delivery is also now faster with a one to the three-day delivery time for those in Metro Manila. Additionally, the UNIQLO app also allows them to enjoy free alterations on select bottoms. To request adjustments for online purchases, shoppers must choose the alteration type and inseam length on the item’s page.

The app also offers a Click and Collect feature where customers can either shop online and pick up the items at their convenience at the nearest store or avail of fast and free nationwide shipping for a minimum purchase of Php 2,500.00. Cash on delivery is now available. Throughout the month, customers can get a PHP300 discount coupon when they order with Click & Collect. And that’s just only one of the many promotions lined up for this anniversary.

Exciting events

Shoppers at Ayala Center Cebu can learn more about the benefits of shopping at UNIQLO.com through a fun exhibit. Visitors who download the app for the first time and take a photo at the installation can claim a free UNIQLO novelty item.

Customers can also join new episodes of UNIQLO’s Live Station, a shopping livestream where they can purchase items in real-time, interact with the hosts and stylists and ask questions, and win special prizes. UNIQLO Releases New Designs for the PEACE FOR ALL Charity T-shirt Project

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the launch of nine new designs for PEACE FOR ALL, a charity T-shirt project from UT (UNIQLO T-shirt), which uses T-shirts as a blank canvas for everyone to express their individuality. The project, first launched on June 17 of this year to raise funds to support peace efforts by selling T-shirts with designs that convey a desire for peace, has received tremendous support from customers. The nine new UTs expand the range of color variations and will be available for purchase worldwide on Friday, July 22.

UNIQLO parent company Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. will donate all profits from sales, no less than 20% of the sales price of each T-shirt, to organizations that provide humanitarian aid to those affected by poverty, discrimination, violence, conflict, and natural disasters. Women’s fashion comes down to earth for environmental sustainability

World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines’ (WWF-Philippines) latest collaboration with clothing brand, Unica Hija, takes the clothing industry a notch higher by promoting sustainable and responsible fashion through the Down to Earth collection.

Down to Earth is a tribute to the Philippine biodiversity and a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation, especially at a time when the fast fashion industry sparks a lot of environmental and ethical issues.

WWF-PH Brand and Innovative Marketing Manager Kent Rebultan imparted that fashion brands can lessen their environmental impacts by incorporating sustainability within their business operations and supply chain.

“Every industry, including clothing and fashion, can play a key role in conserving the planet through sustainable practices. Another way is by stepping up their game in engaging the consumers, through their designs and whatnot, to take actionable steps in caring for our one shared home,” Rebultan said.

Through fashion, Unica Hija and WWF-Philippines will highlight crops that are central to the country’s agriculture industry — maize, sugarcane, and coconut, which are all part of the Philippines’ agricultural identity.

Inspired by local crops

The clothing collection inspired by local crops will artistically reflect the wonders of Philippine biodiversity and will speak to the sense of hope, excitement, and optimism for the future of the country’s environment.

“Unica is grounded in an abundant love for Mother Nature – from the way we approach design to the production methods we practice, we keep the earth close to heart,” Unica Hija’s Co-CEO and Chief Creative Officer Anna Lagon said in a statement, sharing their sustainable practices as a brand.

“For Down to Earth, we are creating an exclusive collection with special artworks, prints, and other designs inspired by local crops. That’s why we’ve partnered up with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in the Philippines, one of our country’s leading organizations for nature conservation. Through this, we aim to promote sustainable and responsible fashion for a healthy planet,” Lagon added.

This brand to launch Peanuts UT Collection

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces that it will launch a UT Collection on Friday, May 27 that features 11 winning entries from UT GRAND PRIX 2022, a global T-shirt design competition run by UNIQLO since 2005. The theme of the latest contest was Peanuts, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of creator Charles M. Schulz. This collection showcase takes on his lovable characters from artists around the world.

Members of the distinguished panel of judges for the contest included representatives from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and the Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates team, as well as a tennis star and UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassador Roger Federer. The panel selected 11 works out of approximately 14,000 entries from around the world. Prize-winning entries were labors of love, including one blending Snoopy into the border design from the comic strip and another in which characters appear as part of an ice cream cone.

The collection is part of an ongoing collaboration with the London-based brand that has revolutionized contemporary fashion. The rich heritage of Britain’s sailing and seaside culture inspires this season’s concept of At Home with the Sea.
