Our meals at Pico Restaurant were a standout. From the hearty breakfast buffet that fueled our mornings to the exquisite dinner spreads, the culinary team showcased a wonderful balance of local Filipino flavors and international favorites.
The seafood, as expected, was remarkably fresh, the chicken teriyaki, pizza, pasta, and tiramisu became an instant family favorite. Dining while looking out at the lagoon as the sun dipped below the horizon added a layer of tranquility to every bite.
We enjoyed a wonderful family lunch at Lagoa, the all-day dining venue of Pico de Loro Country Club. Their menu is a true pan-Asian journey, featuring authentic flavors from Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines. We particularly loved the Pad Thai, the vegetable curry, and the grilled bangus.
Sun-Drenched Adventures
For a family that loves the outdoors, the activities at Pico de Loro Cove are unparalleled. The true highlight, however, was the Cove Tour. We boarded a speed boat that whisked us away to explore the hidden gems of the coastline. Seeing the jagged limestone cliffs and the variety of fish during our snorkeling, gave us a new appreciation for Batangas’ natural beauty.
We eventually settled at the Pico Beach, where the powdery sand and calm waters invited us for a long afternoon of swimming. There is something profoundly restorative about the rhythmic sound of the ocean, especially when shared with the people you love most.
We spent our second day hopping between the various swimming pools. The infinity pool near the hotel offered a sophisticated vibe, while the other club pools were a hit with the kids, providing plenty of space for splashing and play.
