Nami Natural, a UK-formulated nail polish brand that launched in the Philippines last December 2021, is making its mark in the PH nail polish industry: elevating innovative and sustainable practices.

Nami Natural pioneers 18-free, water-based nail polish in the Philippines, highly committed to making nail polish health-friendly and planet-friendly to millions of Filipinos. It has eliminated 18 toxic ingredients commonly found in traditional nail polish and developed alternatives that nourish the skin and nails. The nail polish brand also looks after eco-friendly, vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably sourced product offerings.

Last year, Nami Natural formed a partnership with Kasuso Foundation/Philippine Foundation for Breast Care Inc. (PFBCI), a non-profit, volunteer-based organization focused on indigent breast cancer patients. The nail polish brand seeks to reach the community of breast cancer patients who struggle with the absence of control over their bodies to foster a culture of inclusivity and promote self-esteem. Through the partnership, Nami will be able to support PFBCI’s advocacy for women empowerment by regularly donating a portion of its sales to the foundation, sharing PFBCI’s mission to raise awareness, escalate progress, and one day find a cure to a disease that has affected the lives of millions of women in the past years.

“We couldn’t be happier and we’re extremely grateful to be partners with Nami. Every day, indigent Filipino women receive a diagnosis that alters their life completely and we need more and more support in helping them get treatment. Nami was so generous to provide us with a steady source of funds to further our missions.”, a representative from PFBCI shared.

Last January, Nami Natural also received the highest global certification from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the world’s largest organization for animal rights with over 9 million members and supporters.

As an official member of PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies Program, Nami’s vegan & animal cruelty-free certification verifies that Nami products do not conduct or commission any animal tests on ingredients, formulations, or develop any other finished products that may harm animals in the future.

“Our team has always been serious advocates of sustainability. We wish to bring significant changes and transform the beauty industry to offer consumers new yet conscious products, especially within the Filipino market. Becoming partners with PFBCI and earning a PETA Certification means a lot to us, given the early stage of our business growth. Most importantly, I’m sure it also means a lot and provides a positive impact to many individuals and the future generations,” said Philipp Rener, Nami Natual’s CEO.

True to its brand catchphrase, where quality and style meet nature, Nami is immensely passionate about making consumers look and feel beautiful inside out while being consistent and inventive in its approach to sustainability.
