Globe volunteer Rachelle Serrano provides hands-on support for a participant in Globe’s #SeniorDigizen Learning Session in Batangas City, October 4, 2024. Held in partnership with the Batangas City Council for the Elderly and the Batangas City government, Globe trained some 50 senior citizens from around the city on basic digital skills, including key features of mobile phones, essential fraud protection skills, and how to use life-enabling apps such as GCash, KonsultaMD and GlobeOne. Globe’s #SeniorDigizen campaign is at the center of the company’s advocacy for digital inclusion, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digitalization journey.
