Temple of Leah

Cebu is well-known for its rich history and boasts several famous landmarks such as Magellan’s Cross, Fort San Pedro, and the Basilica del Santo Nino. In addition to historical sites, Cebu offers a variety of tourist attractions. One of these attractions is the Temple of Leah, often referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Cebu.” It was constructed in 2012 by Teodorico Adarna in honor of his late wife, Leah Albino-Adarna. The temple features a 10-foot-high statue of Leah in the lobby, serving as a reminder of her husband’s enduring love. The complex includes 24 different chambers, including a library, an art gallery, and a museum.

 

Sirao Flower Garden

If you have a passion for exploring and admiring the beauty of nature, a trip to the Sirao Flower Garden is an absolute must. Located in Barangay Sirao, this garden is known as the “Little Amsterdam of Cebu” due to its vibrant and meticulously arranged blooms. One of its standout features is the red and yellow celosia flowers, which resemble flames. Interestingly, the name “Celosia” is derived from the Greek word ‘kelos,’ meaning burning, reflecting its fiery appearance.

Sirao Garden is often described as an ‘Instagrammable’ place. It features various picture-perfect spots, including the famous giant hand with a breathtaking view of the mountains in the background, and Dutch-inspired windmills that provide a great backdrop to the enchanting blooms of Sirao.

 

Ka-Tilong Sunflower Farm

Ka-Tilong Sunflower Farm is another beautiful flower destination in Cebu, much like the Sirao Gardens. The farm covers a 2,000 sqm. area filled with vibrant sunflowers and colorful ornamental plants that are sure to capture your attention. This popular attraction is situated just a few kilometers from Sirao Gardens and is definitely worth a visit.

 

10,000 LED-powered roses

After a long day of exploring, you might want to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the 10,000 LED-powered roses at the 10,000 Roses Cafe & More. This Korean-inspired cafe is one of the most famous places to visit in Cebu City. The picturesque place is perfect for taking photos or simply enjoying your favorite coffee and admiring the view. It’s best to visit at night as the roses are illuminated, giving the place an enchanting, glowing look.
