Alike Inc., in partnership with Sta. Lucia Land is set to tee off its inaugural AlikeCup Golf Tournament this October 14, 2022.
Set in Cavite’s scenic Orchard Golf & Country Club, players may expect some of the country’s best fairways while playing 18 holes at The Orchard’s iconic Arnold Palmer Course.
The Prize of Success Industry, discipline, grit — traits that people rediscovered in the pandemic, characteristics of the perfect golf swing, and the very values captured in Alike Cup’s steampunk-style trophy. Crafted by master sculptor Ram Mallari, the trophy is one-of-its-kind in the golfing world and serves as a grand prize in all categories, along with other prizes supplied by chief sponsors CocoLife and Second Skin Industries.
Cooperation through Competition
Open to everyone ages 21-75 with an avid passion for golf, Alike Media Founder and CCO Chari Mendoza hopes the event “brings together different golfing communities in the spirit of sportsmanship, friendship, and revived partnerships, both in sport and in business.”
Expected to be one of the most anticipated golf tournaments of the year, the AlikeCup 2022 is also expected to be the most memorable – replete with a 5-star golfing experience complimented by an evening fellowship buffet, live band, and awards ceremony. “We pulled out all the stops for this one,” says Alike’s CEO, Rosemary Tolentino, “while this is our first ever tournament, we asked around about what people liked and made the event as seamless of an experience as possible from the start to finish.”
